I still don’t know if I should be storing my freshly grounded #coffee in the refrigerator — This bag says no. After all, I do consider my fridge my tightly-sealed container. Either way, I’m excited @Starbucks has once again brought back their #Tribute blend, a full-bodied combination of sun-dried Ethiopia beans, Aged Sumatra and coffees from Papua Nee Guinea & Columbia.

I love my Keurig coffee-maker with the convenience and easy clean-up of their K-Cup packs. But on Sunday mornings I like to take it a little slower with my ceramic pour-over cone. This manual brewing system which was invented in 1908 by an apple strudel-baking mother of two, Melitta Bentz, really does (in my opinion) allow for the full extraction of coffee flavors. My method for pouring the hot water….a slow pour in a counter-clockwise circle :)

Leftover cranberry sauce from your holiday feast? Scoop an ounce of the sauce and add 1 oz. of bourbon and 1 oz. of amaretto almond liqueur. Pour these 3 ingredients into a shaker, throw in some ice and shake. Top off with a 2 ounces of ginger ale and throw in a lime wedge for a tasty holiday drink.

An old photo-sharing friend has once again caught my eye (thanks to Instagram’s new Terms of Service taking effect Jan. 16th allowing them to use your photos without your permission).

Not only does Flickr have a new look & feel - - They’ve revamped their iPhone/iPod Touch app - - but I seem to have forgotten what drew me to my first (photo-sharing) love in the first place: Their willingness to state their intentions upfront and keep my identity….errr…I mean…my photo’s identity MINE!

In case you’ve also forgotten Flickr’s photo-sharing policy, well…they explain it better here.
